I live in Leland, North Carolina with my husband, Mark, and our two cats, Chaucer and Pippin. Yes, that classic author and that mischievous hobbit. As you can tell I love books. Reading them and writing them.

When I’m not writing, I spend my time playing pub trivia, obsessing over vampires and cupcakes, and watching quirky TV shows – most of which get canceled way before their time. And I have a wax lion to prove it.

I graduated with departmental honors in Creative Writing from UNCW in 2003. I work as a senior proposal text analyst in Wilmington, NC.
